Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy explains what happens when you cancel a paid AEKO Shop subscription, operated by AEKO Intelligence Inc.. Because each app store bills its own merchants, the rules differ depending on where you installed from. Find your platform below.

1. What cancelling does, on either platform

• You are not charged again. Cancelling stops the next renewal.
• Your pages stay published until the paid period ends. Your brand profile, product pages, and contextual reviews remain live, and your store stays connected, through the last day you have paid for.
• After that date the subscription lapses to the Free plan. Publishing drops to the Free product limit; anything above it is unpublished rather than deleted, and returns if you subscribe again.
• Uninstalling removes the connection. Removing the app from Shopify or Cafe24 disconnects your store and takes your pages down, whether or not the paid period has ended.

Cancelling is done in the app store you installed from — the subscription belongs to that platform, not to a separate account with us.

2. Merchants billed by Shopify

Subscriptions installed from the Shopify App Store are billed by Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. Cancel by uninstalling the app or changing your plan in your Shopify admin.

Charges are monthly and are not prorated on cancellation: you keep access for the remainder of the billing period you have already paid for, and no partial refund is issued for the unused portion. There is no annual plan, so there is never more than one month outstanding.

If you were charged in error, or the service was unavailable for a sustained period through our fault, contact us at support@aeko-intelligence.com and we will arrange a refund or a credit of equivalent service time. Refunds on Shopify-billed subscriptions are issued through Shopify and are subject to Shopify's billing terms.

3. 카페24 앱스토어를 통해 결제한 경우 (Merchants billed by Cafe24)

This section is written in Korean because it sets out rights under Korean law (전자상거래법) for merchants purchasing through the Cafe24 app store.

① 구독 취소

구독을 취소하시면 다음 결제가 청구되지 않습니다. 이미 결제하신 이용 기간이 끝나는 날까지 스토어 연동과 게시가 그대로 유지되며, 해당 기간이 지나면 무료 플랜으로 전환됩니다. 무료 플랜 한도를 넘는 상품 페이지는 삭제되지 않고 비공개로 전환되며, 다시 구독하시면 복구됩니다.

구독 취소는 카페24 앱스토어의 [마이앱 > 결제 관리]에서 직접 하실 수 있습니다.

② 청약철회

「전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률」 제17조에 따라, 결제일로부터 7일 이내에 청약철회를 요청하실 수 있습니다. 아직 서비스 이용을 개시하지 않으신 경우 결제하신 금액을 전액 환불해 드립니다.

본 서비스에서 "이용 개시"란 연동하신 스토어의 상품·브랜드 정보가 AEKO Shop에 게시된 시점을 의미합니다. 이용을 개시한 이후에는 같은 법 제17조제2항에 따라 청약철회가 제한될 수 있으나, 이 경우에도 아직 제공되지 않은 잔여 기간에 대해서는 아래 ③에 따라 처리합니다.

청약철회 요청은 support@aeko-intelligence.com 또는 070-8064-6273으로 접수해 주시기 바랍니다. 환불에 필요한 결제 수수료는 회사가 부담하며, 고객님께 전가하지 않습니다.

③ 카페24 환불 규정 적용

카페24 앱스토어를 통한 결제·환불은 카페24가 정한 환불 규정 및 절차에 따릅니다. 본 정책과 카페24 앱스토어 정책이 다를 경우, 소비자에게 더 유리한 기준을 적용합니다.

④ 회사의 귀책사유로 인한 환불

회사의 귀책사유로 서비스를 정상적으로 이용하지 못한 경우, 이용하지 못한 기간에 비례하여 이용 기간을 연장하거나 환불해 드립니다.

⑤ 무료 플랜

무료 플랜은 결제가 발생하지 않으므로 환불 대상이 아니며, 별도의 취소 절차 없이 언제든 이용을 중단하실 수 있습니다.
