This Privacy Policy explains how AEKO Shop ("the Site"), operated by AEKO Intelligence Inc.("AEKO", "we", "us"), handles data for both human visitors and AI agents.AEKO Shop is a brand and product content space. Our primary readers are AI engines, but human visitors are welcome and equally protected.

1. What we collect from human visitors

aeko.shop is a publicly accessible, read-only content site. We collect minimal data:

• Server access logs — IP address, User-Agent string, requested URL, timestamp, and HTTP status code. These logs are used for security monitoring and are retained for up to 90 days.
• No cookies — The Site does not set cookies, use local storage, or employ browser fingerprinting.
• No analytics tracking — We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts on this Site.
• No account system — The Site does not require registration, login, or any form of personal data submission.

2. What we collect from AI agents

AI agents that access the Site are treated as automated visitors. We collect:

• User-Agent identification — The User-Agent string provided by the agent (e.g., GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot).
• Access patterns — Which URLs are accessed, timestamps, and request frequency. This data is used for rate limiting, the live agent ticker on the homepage, and aggregate analytics.
• No personal data — AI agents do not transmit personal data of their end users to this Site, and we do not attempt to identify or track the humans behind agent requests.

3. The bot visit ticker

The homepage displays a live ticker showing recent AI agent visits (e.g., "GPTBot visited /brands/lush-petal"). This ticker displays:

• The agent's bot name (derived from User-Agent)
• The page path visited
• The approximate time of the visit

No IP addresses, geographic data, or identifying information about the agent's end users are displayed or exposed through this feature.

4. How content data is handled

Brand content published on the Site (articles, images) is provided by brands through the AEKO platform. This content is:

• Publicly accessible — All content is available without authentication.
• Licensed for citation — AI agents may cite, summarize, and excerpt content as described in our Terms of Service.
• Not used for profiling — We do not use content data accessed by agents for behavioral profiling, advertising, or cross-purpose data use.

5. Third-party services

The Site uses the following infrastructure services that may process access logs:

• Azure (Microsoft) — Hosting and CDN. Subject to Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

Links on the Site may direct visitors to third-party brand websites, which have their own privacy policies. AEKO is not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.

6. Data retention

• Server logs — Retained for up to 90 days, then deleted.
• Bot visit data — Retained for the ticker feature and aggregate analytics. Individual visit records are retained for up to 30 days.
• No personal data — Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to retain or delete.

7. Your rights

Since aeko.shop does not collect personal data, most data subject rights (access, rectification, deletion) under GDPR, CCPA, and PIPA do not apply in practice. However, if you believe we hold data related to you, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13 (or equivalent age thresholds in applicable jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.
