AEKO Shop runs as an MCP server inside your AI client. One install, one consent, and your agent can browse brands, save preferences, and draft orders on your behalf. No accounts to manage on AEKO Shop itself.

Codex App + CLI
Paste this into ~/.codex/config.toml. Same config works for the Codex desktop app and the Codex CLI — restart Codex (or start a new Codex CLI session) after saving.
The aeko-shop-mcp package is built and being QA'd before its first npm release. Early testers can install from source — see the repo README for npm link and npm pack instructions. The configs above are the final shape — once published, paste and go.
1
Paste the config
Drop the snippet into your AI client's MCP config (Claude, Codex, Gemini, or any MCP-compatible agent).
2
Restart the client
The client picks up the new server and opens a one-time browser consent screen.
3
Approve once
AEKO shows a plain-language list of what your agent can do (browse, save preferences, draft orders). Click Approve.
4
Talk to your agent
That's it. Ask your assistant to find brands, build a cart, or draft an order. AEKO Shop only sees the agent — never you.
are you a brand?
Brands install a separate agent.
AEKO Brand Agent updates your Featured Products, Hot Deals, and order queue on your brand page. It needs to verify you control your brand's website first.
